Music

Mitchell Meteors Music classes combine social learning with singing, dancing, and drumming, while we explore cultures around the world.  Each grade level participates in a performance program every year, including Hispanic Heritage, Winter Program, Black History, Volunteer Appreciation, and Fifth Grade Graduation.  Students are exposed to the elements of music theory, including rhythm, melody, form, history, and practice, to prepare them for the music programs of their choice in middle school and beyond.
